My fiance got detained for his immigration status...what to do?

If he is just given a Notice to Appear, then he can apply for cancellation of removal, if it would be an extremely unusual hardship on a US citizen (you didn't say if his daughter was a citizen). But you will need some good attorneys and good luck. :-)
