I find myself in a bit of a moral quandary. Suggestions?

I've recently adopted the practice of giving food to the beggars I encounter in lieu of cash, since I don't want to contribute funds to their drug/alcohol abuse. My question is: Should I adhere to this same policy whilst compensating the prostitutes I frequent?
